WE ARE HOLDING A HOLI COLOUR RUN ON SUNDAY 12TH MARCH AND EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME & CELEBRATE WITH US!

AN ENTIRE DAY, FROM 10AM TO 4PM, OF FESTIVE FUN TO BE HAD!

Holi is the Hindu ‘Festival of Colour’ celebrating the arrival of Spring, Love & New Life. What better way to celebrate than marking this occasion with a Colour Run and at the same time raise very much needed funds for 2 Ealing based charities: SKLPC UK (Charity No. 1001623) & The Log Cabin (Charity No. 1174220)

ARE YOU A KEEN RUNNER? We invite you to take part in a 10k or 5k run which both start from the grounds of SKLPC UK at around 10am. The 5k circuit is also suitable for walkers. T-shirts and
your run number will be provided for collection at the starting line – please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING A LITTLE LESS INTENSIVE. Our Fun Obstacle Course and 1k circuit is perfect for you! (For those who wish to run or walk). Start times vary, but generally these will also start from 10am.

Water and snacks will be supplied to all participants at the finishing line by SKLPC UK, as well as water stations dotted along the route.

To take part, we encourage all participants to raise at minimum amount per entry, depending on the sporting event. 5k and 10k runners to raise at least £100 per entry. Fun Run and 1k circuit participants to raise at least £50 per entry. You may alternatively donate the balance, or if you don’t wish to seek sponsorship, you can donate the amount yourself. SKLPC UK and The Log Cabin both qualify for gift aid. Furthermore, if your employer matches your raising of funds for charitable causes, why not get them to match your donation of £100 or £50, doubling your donation.

LET THE FESTIVAL BEGIN!
After the completion of the challenges, expected by 12 noon, the fun continues!
KICKING OFF THE FESTIVITIES WITH COLOUR THROWING*, MUSIC PROVIDED BY DJ’S FROM OUR COMMUNITY, FAST FOOD STALLS, BOUNCY CASTLE, CHILDREN’S PLAY AREA, PERFORMANCES BY CHILDREN HIGHLIGHTING THE MEANING OF HOLI, AND INDIAN DANCES.

Our helpful volunteers will be on hand to help with the organisation of this event. It is not necessary to take part in any of the challenges to attend on the day, but we do ask that you register your interest now at: www.sklpc.com/event/holi-colour-run/ *Please wear white clothing that you are prepared to have coloured powder thrown on. All colour should wash-off, but we cannot guarantee this. Colour powder will be available to purchase on the day.
